Geneva resident Leonard L Thurin, 65, died Thursday, Oct 17, 2002 at the Family Health Services Hospital in Geneva.
Rosary is 7:30 pm Sunday at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva. Services are 10:30 am Monday at the church with Monsignor Ivan Vap officiating. Burial is in St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at Geneva. Visitation is Sunday from 1-6 p.m. until the rosary at the church.
Mr Thurin was born Oct 28, 1936 to Roy and Evelyn (Nelson) Thurin at Ong. He married Rosemarie O'Brien.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Tim of Omaha and Daniel of Lincoln; one daughter, Ann Carlson of Kearney; one brother, Richard of Grant; three sisters, Geraldine Powers of DeWitt, Carolyn Saville of Beatrice and Shirley Bear of Grand Island; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
