Murdock died Nov. 8,1977 in a Huntington Beach hospital following a long illness. Funeral services were being held there today, Thursday. The body is expected to arrive in Marengo Friday night where friends may call at Hoover- Valentine funeral home. , Born in Ireland, Murdock came to Ewart, near Brooklyn, when he was 5. He lived in Marengo for a number of years. He is survived by wife Ella. Lloyd Milling, Marengo, is a nephew. Williamsburg Journal Tribune November 10, 1977
