Eloise B. Pearson was born to Harry V. Pearson and Lillian A. (Swanson) Pearson on April 23, 1929 at Hastings, Nebraska and passed away February 7, 2008 at Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 78 years, 9 months, and 14 days. She was one of 3 children in the family.

Eloise was baptized on May 19, 1929 at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Ong, Nebraska, and received the Rite of Confirmation June 20, 1943 at the same church. Eloise was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church of Denver, Colorado almost 50 years and at the time of her passing held membership at the Pacific Hills Lutheran Church of Omaha.

Eloise grew up on her partent's farm outside of Shickley, Nebraska. She attended rural grade school in Fillmore County District #87, a one room school. From there, Eloise attended Shickley High School and graduated in 1946. After graduating, she attended Luther Junior College at Wahoo, Nebraska for two years. She entered Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas for the fall term in 1948, and graduated in 1950 with a degree in education.

The next two years of Eloise's live were spent teaching elementary school in Leonardville, Kansas. In 1952, Eloise dicided to continue with her education and entered Denver University in the fall term to pursue a Masters Degree in Library Science. She completed that course of study while teaching in the Denver Public School system. In the late 1950's, she started to work in Denver East High School as a full time Librarian, and remained there until her retirement.
Throughout Eloise's life, her hobbies included photography, travel and quilts.

Eloise moved from Denver, Colorado to Omaha, Nebraska in late August of 2003 to be closer to her family.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Harry V. Pearson and Lillian A. (Swanson) Pearson, and and infant sister.

She leaves to mourn her passing a brother, Vernon and wife Elaine of Omaha, Nebraska; nephews Jon Pearson and wife Susan and their children Catherine, Jacob and Anna and Erik Pearson and his wife Carolyn, all of Omaha, Nebraska.
