Mr. Sederburg died Monday afternoon, April 9, 1973, of an apparent heart attack when his car developed engine trouble during the storm when he had gone to Stanton to bring his children home from school. He is survived by his wife, Iola and nine children. Interment was in Mamre Cemetery in Stanton.

Hilmer William Sederburg, son of Swan William Sederburg and Hilma Eleanora Wenstrand was born October 28, 1914 in Montgomery County, Iowa and died April 1973 in Montgomery County, Iowa. He married Iola Nadine Pearson on February 14, 1944 in Marion, South Carolina. They moved to a farm north of Red Oak, Iowa before moving to the Wallin area in February of 1955, where they farmed for many years. Preceded in death by an infant son, Kevin in l957.
