Mr Erickson was born Dec 2, 1919 to Luther E and Esther (Thorson) Erickson in Edgar. He attended Edgar country school. He served in the U S Army during World War II and was stationed in Alaska and Germany. He also fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Joan Booker. She died in 1964. In 1969 he married Eleanor Walker. He spent most of his life in Simi Valley, Calif., where he owned a dry wall construction company. In 1979 he and his wife retired to Hardy. He received the Bronze Star.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Carol Browder of North Hollywood, Calif; three stepdaughters, Kay Morton of Oxnard, Calif., and Alana Daniels and Cindy Smith, both of Simi Valley; one brother Vincent of Hastings; one sister, Arlyne Gunn of Superior; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He also was preceded in death by two sisters.
