Steven Kay Winberg, 57, beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, companion and friend, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011. He was born on July 11, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert G. and Claudene Winberg.

Steve married Carolynn Vance. Later divorced. He married Mary Lawrence. Later divorced. He was the loving father of four children, Keith (Christie), Kayleen (Steve) Greager, Elliott (Hope Gibson) and Austin.

Steve left behind wonderful memories for all of us. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone at the drop of a dime. His sarcasm and witty sense of humor was as infectious as his smile.

There was no greater passion in Steves life then spending quality time with his family and friends.

For Steve, Lake Powell was a place of peace filled with memories from his early years as a young man with his father and family; only to create memories with his own family and friends.

There are no words to express the incredible void he leaves in our hearts.

Survived by his children; grandchildren: Dallas, Christian, Sam, Scarlett, Skye, Vivian; siblings: Cary (Jimilyn), Vicky Astorga; nieces and nephew: Wendy Garcia, Tony (Susan) Owens, Jennifer (Mike) LaMothe; friend and companion, Iracema Oblad, her children: Tiana, Christian and Hunter.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the services.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Monroe Utah Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 12:30-1:30 pm in the Magleby Mortuary, 50 S. 100 W., Richfield, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at any Cypress Credit Union to help with Steve�s funeral expenses.
