Mr Pearson was born July 11, 1926 to Emil G and Esther M (Erickson) Pearson on a farm in Bryant Township in Fillmore County. He attended school in Shickley and graduated from Shickley High School. He served in the U S Army from 1946-19947 during World War II. On April 2, 1949, he married Vada Kretchman at Christ's Lutheran Church in Davenport. He lived in the Davenport area. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of Christ's Lutheran Church in Davenport, Davenport American Legion Post No 335 and Veterans of Foreign Wars No 10579.
Survivors are his wife; one son Jim of Red Cloud; and three brothers, Knox of Shickley and Arvid and Emil, both of Davenport. He was preceded in death by one sister.
