Suzanne was born to Leol & Madeleine Hanson in 1950 and grew up with her sister, Joanne, as part of a close-knit family. Both sisters were tall, attractive and active young women. Suzanne was involved in athletics and gifted in many ways. She graduated from Central Valley High in 1968.
Following nursing training at Spokane Community College she worked for Deaconess Medical Center. Moving to Stockton in 1970 she married Paul (Rick) Brengle on June 27, 1970 living there since. She worked for Planned Parenthood in Jonqin County and as a private duty nurse for the past three years.
Rick and Suzanne have two children, Jason (19) and Jill (16) who reflect their parents vitality, abilities and caring ways. Jason is starting a landscaping business and Jill is a multisport athlete, including volleyball. Rick is an engineer for a sign firm in Stockton.
The beach was one of the special place for Suzanne and her family. She had a love of collecting shells reflected in the Sand Dollar poem. They enjoyed camping, travel, and being in touch with their extended families.

Suzanne was a deeply caring woman, who supported her family and those in need in many ways including the PTA, Girl Scouts, and her children's sports. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and various athletic booster clubs.

She was a child of God, loved and redeemed by her Lord Jesus Christ. She was active in her faith not only at GS in her growing years, but at Zion Lutheran in Stockton. Her Pastor there, Mark Holmerud, joins us today in prayers of consolation for Rick, Jason and Jill.
Her father, Leol, preceded her in death on November 1, 1992 after a long illness. Suzanne was in good health throughout her life. She has just completed two wonderful weeks back with Madeleine,

Joanne and her brother-in-law, Wayne Shawgo and was refreshed ready to return to her family to celebrate Jill's birthday. There was no warning before the aneurysm happened Friday. She lost consciousness on Friday evening. Her family arrived by car on Saturday before her death.

She is survived by her husband Paul (Rick) Brengle and children, Jason, and Jill of the home. By her mother, Madeleine Hanson of Spokane Valley and Joanne & Wayne Shawgo. Rob & Paulina Brengle (brother) and Margaret Brengle (mother) join them today.
